QF Accessories

Nordfab's Quick-Fit (QF) Back Pressure Flap Valve is a non return air valve, designed to prevent air circulating. Its primary function is to prevent the reverse flow of air within ductwork system. These valves are typically installed in ducts where airflow needs to be unidirectional, such as exhaust vents or ventilation systems.

Installed in ducting as part of a dust collection system, the Nordfab Inline Spark Trap greatly reduces the possibility of fire in cyclones / collectors by decreasing the number of sparks which could reach the cyclone or collector through the ductwork. The spark trap's effectiveness is based on a simple principle, disrupting the laminar airflow to cause sparks to cool and extinguish before they can enter a cyclone or collector.

the Nordfab Quick-Fit (QF) Ball Joint allows up to 22° of movement off-center. The movement allows flexibility in the duct, allowing it to rotate in all directions.

Nordfab's Quick-Fit (QF) Drop Out Box is effective at capturing relatively large particles such as wood chips, that may inadvertently enter the ducting system. Inside the duct, deflectors knock chips downward into the built-in hopper. By removing the wood chip, or other particles, drop out boxes help prevent blockages, damage to equipment, or contamination of sensitive processes downstream.

Nordfab’s Floor Sweep is easily clamped into QF/FB Ducting systems to provide a quick and easy way to dispose of dust and debris in a shop or manufacturing facility.

Nordfab's Quick-Fit (QF) Roof Plate is used to cover space around Nordfab ductwork when the duct extends through the roof. Available in galvanised steel, raning from 100 mm to 1000 mm in diameter.

Nordfab's Quick-Fit (QF) Wall Plate is used to cover space around QF ductwork when the duct extends through the wall. Available in galvanised steel, raning from 80 mm - 1000 mm in diameter.
