Launched in 2011 as a joint initiative between a group of New Zealand businesses and IMPAC, PREQUAL was created to address common challenges in contractor pre-qualification. It offers a streamlined, independent assessment service that not only verifies a contractor’s safety credentials but also adds real value to the contractor management process.
With PREQUAL, contractors can demonstrate their commitment to safe work practices, making it easier for client organisations to trust in their capabilities. It eliminates the need for clients to conduct their own assessments, saving time and effort while ensuring that safety standards are met.
Our Business Development Manager, Sarah, says the PREQUAL assessment is a comprehensive process which has touched on all parts of the AtSource business and required many upgrades to our health and safety systems. With regular reassessment required it means we will undertake constant self assessment and quality improvement – ensuring we remain compliant to the latest site safety requirements by key contractors and clients.
