Nordfab’s Quick-Fit (QF) Drop Out Box is effective at capturing relatively large particles such as wood chips, that may inadvertently enter the ducting system. Inside the duct, deflectors knock chips downward into the built-in hopper. By removing the wood chip, or other particles, drop out boxes help prevent blockages, damage to equipment, or contamination of sensitive processes downstream.

Nordfab’s Floor Sweep is easily clamped into QF/FB Ducting systems to provide a quick and easy way to dispose of dust and debris in a shop or manufacturing facility.

The purpose of a Quick-Fit (QF) Silencer w/o Baffle is to effectively reduce noise levels generated by airflow while allowing for smooth and efficient passage of air. By absorbing sound energy and minimizing turbulence, these silencers contribute to a quieter and more comfortable environment while maintaining optimal system performance. Silencers without baffle typically require minimal maintenance compared to silencers with baffles, as they do not have internal components that can become clogged or require cleaning. It is available in three different lengths: 500 mm, 1000 mm, and 2000 mm, ranging from 100 mm to 710 mm in diameter.

Nordfab’s Quick-Fit (QF) Back Pressure Flap Valve is a non return air valve, designed to prevent air circulating. Its primary function is to prevent the reverse flow of air within ductwork system. These valves are typically installed in ducts where airflow needs to be unidirectional, such as exhaust vents or ventilation systems. By allowing air to flow in one direction only, non-return air valves help maintain the intended airflow pattern and prevent the backflow of air from entering unwanted areas or contaminating clean air spaces. Available in galvanised steel, ranging from 160 mm to 710 mm in diameter.

Installed in ducting as part of a dust collection system, the Nordfab Inline Spark Trap greatly reduces the possibility of fire in cyclones / collectors by decreasing the number of sparks which could reach the cyclone or collector through the ductwork. The spark trap’s effectiveness is based on a simple principle, disrupting the laminar airflow to cause sparks to cool and extinguish before they can enter a cyclone or collector. There are no moving parts and no power is required for operations. Available in galvanised steel and 304SS construction, ranging from 100 mm to 710 mm in diameter.

The Ball joint can be used to connect hose to moveable ports. Ø100 – 300 mm, galvanised steel.

Installed in ductwork as part of a dust collection system, the Nordfab Quick-Fit (QF) Ball Joint allows up to 22° of movement off-center. The movement allows flexibility in the duct, allowing it to rotate in all directions. The ball joint’s use a similar to that of a QF Bend but a bend has a set angle and direction whereas a balljoint has 360° directional capability and an angle from 0° – 22°, depending on the applications. It is available in galvanised steel, ranging from 100 – 300 mm in diameter.
